Booking Your Trip

Due to high demand, all reservations are on a first come, first served basis. To confirm your reservation, a deposit of 30% or $200 (whichever is greater) is required for gear rentals and ground shuttles. For fly-in reservations, a minimum deposit of $200 / person is required. For guided trips, a group deposit of 50% is required. All deposits are non refundable. By placing a deposit and confirming a trip booking you are considered accepting of these terms.

Payment

Red Lake Outfitters accepts cash, travelers checks, Mastercard, Visa and Paypal. All services and gear rental fees are due in full prior to trip departure. Should your trip be terminated early, we’re pleased to refund everything but the last 2 days gear rentals. Charges are in U.S. Dollars

Damage Deposit

A damage deposit of $200 accompanies all gear rental reservations and is fully refundable at the end of your trip provided all equipment is returned in acceptable condition. Prior to your trip, you will be required to do a walk through of your rental gear to ensure it’s in good operating condition.

Should rental equipment be returned damaged or in unusable condition, the renter will be responsible for the cost of the repairs or replacement of the equipment at our discretion.

Shuttle Times

We run daily shuttle service to all park access points. Our shuttle departure time is 8:00 AM from our base. Please keep this time in mind when planning your arrival and departure times. It is advised to be ready to go 30 min prior to shuttle. Due to the distance traveled on our shuttles, groups that are late by more than 30 min. for their shuttle will be subject to a charge of $100/ hr. Custom shuttles can be arranged depending on our schedule and may be subject to an additional charge. Please contact us for more information.

Shuttle Liability:

While we take great care and effort in ensuring all canoes and equipment are transported safely and damage free to our access points, Red Lake Outfitters Inc. will not be responsible for damage to any customer equipment during the course of travel.

Air Services and Weather:

We do our best to ensure that flight times are met as per booking agreements. However, we are from time to time delayed by factors out of our control such as weather and /or mechanical. In such cases, your flight will be rescheduled for the next available flight. Red Lake Outfitters Inc. will not be responsible for these delays or any overnight accommodations from such delays.

Changing Itinerary While On Trip

Please note that ALL non-emergency changes in pickup times and dates due to wanting to end a trip early cannot always be facilitated. If calling from a satellite phone or messaging from a satellite device to request an earlier pickup, a charge of $500 will be added to your account if we are able to make the change. No exceptions.

Factors Out Of Our Control:

Woodland Caribou Provincial Park offers a true back country experience. As with any remote location, factors out of our control can sometimes cause delays or alter trip plans. Such events as forest fires, low water, high water, blowdown events, road washouts etc.. can occur. Red Lake Outfitters Inc. will not be liable for any changes to trip plans resulting from factors out of our control

Taxes

All services provided by Red Lake Outfitters Inc. are subject to 13 % HST (harmonized sales tax)
